Today’s blog is about Ines Tropa, our marketing manager, who is an all-round super-star.
Based at our HQ in Zug, Switzerland, Ines joined us in 2021 to spruce up our marketing communications. She has worked in a variety of marketing roles in Portugal and Spain, as well as Switzerland, where her impressive language skills were – and are – much appreciated.
With customers across many verticals, and a growing portfolio of global connectivity, maritime connectivity and IoT services, we needed more brochures, more outgoing emails, more activity around trade shows, more social media content, internal comms and so much more. Ines is a multi-tasker, that’s for sure!
Ines is currently working on promoting Talk, Text, and Travel, our new global connectivity service that provides cellular voice, data and SMS to Business Travellers.
The key differentiators of this service which Ines is highlighting are that:
- For business travellers, hoping between countries, a Business Travel SIM card is the most convenient, and cost-effective, option for global connectivity.
- One of the many advantages of using our Talk, Travel & Text service, is that people don’t have to replace their existing subscriptions. They can use the service they already subscribe to in their home country – and with a few quick taps move to Telecom26 when they are abroad.
- Our Business Travel eSIMs are quick and easy to install on any device via the settings tool and using a QR code to download the software.
Ines understands the importance of interacting with Telecom26’s customers, prospects and partners. Not only to enhance their Telecom26 experience but to better understand their pain points and needs – and to work with our product and R&D teams to constantly improve, and expand, our global connectivity, maritime connectivity and IoT services.
Organising and attending events and customer workshops are a good opportunity for Ines to personally meet Telecom26’s partners and customers. This is a highly competitive industry. Our customers’ needs are constantly evolving as new technologies and industry trends mature - and new players join the market.
Ines says that she really enjoys working at Telecom26 as it’s a very technical environment where she learns about new technology trends
She appreciates the family environment at Telecom26 and learning from her colleagues who are always happy to share their skills and advice – and make themselves available to help with problem-solving and solution-finding!
In her spare time, Ines likes to ski and hike in the beautiful Swiss mountains.
