Junior Systems Engineer

Junior Systems Engineer (m/f), 100%

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring our growing infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will be working in a dynamic environment, gaining experience in a wide range of technologies. You will be expected to complete tasks independently and to be proactive on getting tasks done. Your primary tasking at first is first line IT support for our team, but when time allows you will integrate with our engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Office IT for Mac, Windows, iOS and Android users
  • Provide direct support to users, to include printing, phones and other IT tasks
  • Management of infrastructure (including office and datacentre)
  • Tune performance and ensure high availability of office infrastructure
  • Create tools to help other users make the most out of the available infrastructure
  • Monitor network and systems for outage and repair as needed
  • Plan, develop and maintain infrastructure to support a global workforce
  • Service and infrastructure documentation and automation

Technical Sales Engineer

Technical Sales Engineer (m/f), 100%

Telecom26 has an immediate need for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our world-class team.

The basic function of the Technical Sales Engineer role is to support revenue growth of the company through providing the sales organization with technical support to clearly define customer needs and develop world-class solutions to address them. This will require savvy technical qualification of opportunities, supporting responses to RFP’s/RFI’s, preparing and supporting value-added presentations, producing customer documentation (network diagrams, etc.), all while coordinating with the Development and Mobile Core Network teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supports Sales and Customer Care organizations with
    • Pre/post -sales activities
    • Conducting Technical Qualification Meetings and Interviews with Prospective Customers
    • Project management
    • Interfacing with Sales, Operations, and the Customer
    • Proposal Development (leading answer to RFP, RFI)
    • Assisting with Technical Proposal Delivery and Presentations
  • Participating in customer and partner meetings, conference, and trade shows as a technical expert
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and collaborating with Marketing to produce sales collateral
  • Assist with other sales and business development functions as necessary
  • Collaborate with Development and Mobile Core Network teams to ensure our product and services are evolving apace with our customers’ requirements

You’ll need to be adept at translating complex technical issues in to lay terminology, and interfacing between sales, operations, and customers. The ideal candidate will have both solutions engineering and customer-facing experience, specifically while working for a mobile network.

    Speaking English is a requirement, as is the ability to travel regularly to Zug, Switzerland.

    Required attributes:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Telecommunications, and 2 years presales experience in Mobile Telecoms
  • Excellent understanding of mobile networks and infrastructure and keen interest in mobile device technologies to include:
    • Network Topology of Modern Mobile Networks and Roaming Partnerships
    • RATS and associated technology
    • Traffic Routing – Inbound/Outbound Roaming
    • Traffic Steering
    • SIM Technology
    • API Logic
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering discipline
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated problem solving experience
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work remotely and/or independently
  • Energized by finding answers to difficult problems
  • Strong communicator in both spoken and written forms
  • Good PowerPoint and Presentation Skills
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Preferred experience interfacing with B2B customers in either a sales, pre-sales, or customer care capacity

Junior Sales Associate

Telecom26 has an immediate need for a Junior Sales Associate to join our world-class team.

Junior Sales Associate (m/f), 100%

The basic function of the Junior Sales Associate role is to generate new business opportunities for the company through a combination of filtering through inbound leadings, prospecting new accounts by following a regimented program of making outbound contacts, and engaging and growing existing accounts through world class account management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and conduct outbound sales campaigns leveraging a combination of phone calls, email, and appropriate social media
  • Assist with filtering and prequalifying in-bound sales leads, and conducting appropriate follow-up
  • Supports Sales and Customer Care organizations with
    • pre-sales research
    • project management
    • Interfacing with Sales, Operations, and the Customer
    • Proposal Development (answer to RFP, RFI)
  • Assist with other sales and business development functions as necessary
  • Maintain clear documentation of activities in the CRM
  • Demonstrates the application of a methodical, consultative sales approach and continually improves all critical performance ratios
  • Develop a strong understanding of Mobile Telecommunications and stay informed on Developments in the Industry and related Industries
