Next week our team of maritime connectivity experts will be attending the Nor-Shipping event in Norway from Monday April 4 - Thursday April 7.
The World’s largest ship, Wonder of the Seas, set sail last month with 6,988 guests and 2,300 crew members on-board, and the Telecom26 team of IoT and maritime connectivity experts were agog at the sheer size of it all!
Our team of IoT experts is quite rightly always thinking about and discussing IoT. They love it! This week we’ve been re-evaluating the key considerations for IoT data in logistics and freight and had another look at our white paper “The IoT Communications Voyage – Seamless Connectivity and Coverage”.
During last month’s Mobile World Congress, our IoT experts attended a session hosted by the GSMA titled eSIM Adoption and Global Market Trends.
The discussion focused on the adoption of eSIMs and was attended by experts from across the eSIM industry, including operators, device manufacturers and service providers and others, to explain the opportunities and the eSIM solutions for market challenges.
This week our team of maritime connectivity experts will be attending Asia Pacific Maritime’s Future Of Vessels - Solutions For Tomorrow event which will be bringing together key decision makers from across the industry for three days of debate and discussion in Singapore from 16-18 March.
The writers at telecoms.com perfectly summed up this year’s show:
“The overwhelming consensus seemed to be that MWC 2022 exceeded everyone’s expectations. The cliché that ‘people do business with people’ was reinforced once more and, at times, it felt more like a school reunion than a trade show. It really was great to see everyone again and our only regret is that the success of this year’s show makes it likely it will soon return to its overpopulated pomp.”
