Our team of global connectivity and IoT Connectivity experts has recently written a new white paper titled “What does 5G bring to your business?” which you can download here.
Our team of maritime connectivity experts speak with our global shipping customers on a regular basis and this week’s chat turned to the recent fire on-board a container ship in the Red Sea. According to this report, “thick black smoke (was) billowing from burning containers, the superstructure is engulfed in smoke and probably, fire, and is obviously uninhabitable”. Thankfully the crew got off in time and passing boats are using GPS to leave a wide berth to avoid possible toxic smoke, fumes and explosions.
As part of our occasional blogs on the people who are building Telecom26, we have previously written about Cristian Apostol, one of our mobile core network engineers and Pietro Cotino, Telecom26’s International Roaming Manager, In this blog we are discussing the work of Tanja Bütler.
Excitement is mounting within the Telecom26 global connectivity team as the countdown to the football World Cup continues. The competition takes place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18. 32 teams will compete and, according to goal.com, “Brazil may not have savoured World Cup glory since 2002, but they are five-time winners and currently boast the strength in depth - with the likes of Neymar, Vinicius Junior and Alisson at their disposal - to make them 9/2 (5.50) favourites in Qatar”.
