Telecom26 has an immediate need for a Senior Network Engineer to join our world-class team.
Senior Network Engineer, 100% in Zug
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring our growing network infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop network designs and processes. You will be working in a dynamic environment, gaining experience in a wide range of technologies. The position is based in Zug, Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and maintain our international enterprise network
- Tune performance and ensure high availability of a globally distributed network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain configuration management solutions, specifically related to Network Device Management
- Create automation and tools to help other users make the most out of the available infrastructure
- Monitor network and systems for outage and repair as needed
Skills:

- Overcome language and cultural barriers
- Experience with IP/MPLS Network and Security Design in a multi-vendor environment
- Experience in design and troubleshooting of dynamic routing protocols (BGP/OSPF)
- Experience with firewalls (Juniper SRX/iptables), security best practices and load balancing (VRRP, CARP)
- Experience with VPN and Tunnelling Protocols (IPsec, L2TP, GRE, VTI, GTPv2)
- Knowledge of Cisco IOS/NXOS, Juniper JunOS
- Familiarity with a scripting language (bash/python) and automation tools (ansible/awx)
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting applications (tcpdump/Wireshark) and monitoring tools (SNMP, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Experience with integrating physical networks with cloud services (AWS Direct Connect / Azure ExpressRoute)
- Knowledge of IPv6
- Experience with Radius, Diameter, TACACS and DNS a plus
- Mobile packet data network technologies experience (GGSN/PGW/GRX) a plus
